About me

 My story

In 1994, I rejoined Avon as a stay-at-home mom (after a stint with Avon during my high school days in the early 1980s.) Here I am, more than 30 years later, absolutely loving the flexibility and opportunities this amazing company has offered me throughout the years.
I have lived on The Range in Northern Minnesota for more than 30 years and in addition to being your friendly, neighborhood Avon Lady, I spent nearly 20 years as an award-winning newspaper journalist/editor.
Volunteering has also been an important part of my life, whether it was teaching Sunday School, chaperoning 4-H events or working with the Boy Scouts. Currently, I serve as the executive board secretary for the Minnesota Newspaper Foundation.
Many would characterize me as a sports fanatic, and hockey is definitely my favorite. In the mid- to late-1980s, I played goalie in the now-defunct Minnesota Women’s Hockey League and worked a couple seasons for the Minnesota North Stars. Well, worked there until the unthinkable happened. We’ll say no more about that sad moment in Minnesota sports history.
Of course, I have other interests besides sports. During my off time in the summer, you will find me playing in the dirt, planting and tending my flowers. The chances are good that my dog and four cats will be assisting me. As long as they don’t dig up too many plants for me to replant.
As for my life with Avon, I love the products, and I love the friends I have made by being associated with this iconic company. Whether you are looking for products or looking for extra income, I would love to talk to you.
